This is an overview of the "Pathological Dharma" concept, an idea born out of correspondence with a relative of a very old dementia sufferer in the context of spirituality. The term "Pathological Dharma" in this specific meaning is new, it was actually created by Claude.ai when analysing the conversations with the dementia sufferer and her son.   The purpose of the application is to show similarities, overlaps and differences between some forms of ego/self dissolution and spiritual ("dharma") related concepts of no-self / emptiness of self.  

Note that the concept of "emptiness" here does not necessarily correspond to the concept of "emptiness of self" in Tibetan traditions.
